We all know this month is all about the RUGBY World Cup, but I am not willing to forget about South African soccer. A lot of people wonder why I don't talk much about netball-seeing that I play netball. The MTN8 league was beautiful but only two teams remained for the final match, and they were the two Soweto giants. Even my housemates know that if Kaizer Chiefs plays against Orlando Pirates I route for Orlando Pirates. It seems like 2011 is Orlando Pirates' year, because they are holders of the ABSA premier league cup, the Nedbank league and are the recent winners of the MTN8. There's a Soweto derby again this coming weekend.
Do not get it twisted I am a Bloemfontein Celtic fan. What amazes me is that Bloemfontein Celtic has a few fans but we have a humongous team spirit. Despite the fact that my father is from the Free State I enjoy watching the fans sing their Siwelele songs and dancing together. All you notice are their green and white T-shirts or green and black T-shirts I'm in love with MY team. That's how we identify ourselves "Siwelele sama'sokolara."Their next match is at Athlone Stadium on Saturday 17 September at 18.00pm.
“We look forward to entertaining Maritzburg United in our second home game of
the season,” coach Clinton Larsen says.
I WANT TO WISH MY BOYS ALL THE BEST.
My love is forever theirs {Kelello} lOl
